The recent windy weather has made it difficult for smaller east coast day boats to get out and fish. This week we will see a shortage of Chatham cod, Striped bass, Black sea bass, scallops and fluke.
We are seeing a good amount of locally landed Swordfish, Yellowfin, Bigeye and Albacore tuna's. Mostly short trips, fish have been very nice.
We are starting to see some Cape Cod bay scallops show up intermittently. Prices are firm, but should ease off as more area's open in the coming weeks.
The Fla stone crab claw season has also begun. Again prices are firm to start but should ease off as more product becomes available.
We had some very nice West coast spiney lobster last week, sizing is 1.25# - just under 2#. We can take pre-orders and should be getting once a week. Order by Tuesday noon or Thursday arrival.
